Carriage Works Swindon

The Enterprise Network appointed Ashlar to assist with a project for the Workshed at the Carriage Works, Swindon.

Ashlar provided services including the furniture layout, selection, and specification.

It is labelled as “Swindon’s workspace with a difference”, set in the former Brunel’s Railway Carriage Works.

Workshed is a place for “entrepreneurs, pioneers & creative thinkers to innovate, connect and grow”. To help translate this message into the environments at the Workshed, Ashlar provide:

Space Planning
Furniture selection and procurement
Finishes selection
Site attendance through to completion

The brief was to create something that sat aesthetically with the architecture and supported the ethos of the flexible space.
