PROJECT
Lucy Group
Headquarters Workplace Transformation
LOCATION
Oxford
SECTOR
Corporate Workplace
SIZE
880 square meters
Following the successful completion of Lucy Properties, Ashlar ID was appointed to undertake a space analysis and workplace strategy for Lucy Group’s headquarters in Oxford, working alongside Lynrace Architects, Belmark Nightingale contractors and the onsite delivery team.

The study identified opportunities to improve space utilisation, including storage rationalisation, a reduction in cellular offices and measures to improve acoustic performance. Significant structural works were undertaken to the lower ground floor to open up the space and create a more flexible and connected working environment.

The design introduced a series of workplace settings and a central breakout hub at the heart of the building, encouraging collaboration while still supporting focused work. Meeting spaces were enhanced, a wellbeing room was introduced and the workplace was brought up to date to better support the needs of the organisation.

The result is a contemporary workplace that supports collaboration, focus and the organisation’s evolving ways of working.

Debbie has helped us create a beautiful workplace, working with us on a full refurbishment of our Global HQ in Oxford.  She was involved from inception all the way through to completion, taking ownership of all design decisions, attending site in person for weekly meetings and communicating and managing multiple sub-contractors throughout.  It’s been a pleasure to work with her.  Following our latest staff survey employee satisfaction and wellbeing are at an all time high when asked about their physical working environment.”
